Video categories by region

This query allows you to retrieve a list of video categories available in a specific region on YouTube. These categories are used to group videos on the platform.

Parameters

Region Code

Specifies the region for which you want to retrieve video categories.

• Example: US for United States
• This parameter is required.
• Enter a valid two-letter ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 country code.

Tip: For a complete list of country codes, refer to the Wikipedia country code list.

Columns

The data returned from this query can be customized using various output columns. Columns are categorized into basic columns and advanced columns.

Basic Columns
